Atlassian is retiring the Connect framework that Jira Cloud apps were originally built on, and moving apps to its successor, Forge. Quantify TimeSpent is moving with it. This page explains what that means for your site.
What changes for you
Nothing you need to act on. The update arrives through the Atlassian Marketplace like any other app update. Your data, settings, reports, permissions, and integrations stay exactly as they are, and the app keeps running on the same Quantify service it does today.
The app asks for no new permissions in this update. Because of that, Atlassian applies it automatically to sites that have automatic updates enabled. If your site requires an administrator to approve app updates, the update will wait in Manage apps until an admin approves it.
Why you may see a notice in Jira
Jira administrators may see a banner in Manage apps about apps built on Connect. Atlassian shows it for every Connect app, whether or not the vendor has a migration under way. Quantify has confirmed to Atlassian that TimeSpent will move to Forge before Connect support ends, so the notice needs no action from you.
Where your data lives
Quantify stores and processes your data on its own infrastructure, as described in our privacy and terms. The move to Forge does not change that: Forge connects your Jira site to the same Quantify service, and the app declares that connection openly so Atlassian can verify where data goes.
TimeSpent Pro
If your site uses the TimeSpent Pro companion app, it is unaffected by this update. Your licence, billing, and Pro features continue as before.
